Consent and Confidentiality Agreement

I confirm that all the information I have provided is accurate and up-to-date to the best of my knowledge. I understand that this information is required for safety purposes and will be kept strictly confidential. Records will be securely stored for a period of seven years, unless disclosure is required by law, such as in the case of a court order, if there is a belief that harm may come to myself or others, or for the transfer of records to another practitioner, which will only occur with my written consent. By providing my consent, I agree to receive treatments and fully understand that I do so at my own risk. I acknowledge that my health and safety regarding these services are my sole responsibility.

Child Safety

Protecting the privacy and safety of children is especially important to us, and those under the age of 13 are protected by federal law. For that reason, I do not see children alone in my healing space without a parent or legal guardian.  

 

Disclaimer

Light of Alchemy understands the universal law of non-intervention and uses a person-centred approach, meaning that you are the expert in your life and I help encourage you to find the answers yourself. You are responsible for your own on ongoing healing. Amanda does not provide any advice regarding medication, psychological disorders or financial matters. All advice for these matters should be obtained from a qualified professional. You understand that Amanda cannot make any guarantees regarding the information provided and cannot be held responsible or liable for the actions you take as a result of the session.

Privacy Policy 

Your privacy and safety is a priority here at Light of Alchemy. All of your information will be stored and locked away for 7 years unless a third party needs to be involved, only then, a release of records form will need to be completed. Our sessions are completely confidential and will not be discussed with any other party unless consent has been given. 

 

Photo Release Policy

Occasionally, Light of Alchemy may request your permission to take photographs during events or sessions for marketing purposes. These images may be shared on our website or social media platforms. However, you are under no obligation to participate, and if you prefer not to be photographed, simply let us know, and we will fully respect your wishes.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable. Full payment is required upfront for all service bookings. For retreats with a payment plan, the balance must be paid in full at least two weeks prior to the event. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payments. If a payment is late by more than 24 hours, a $50 late fee will be applied, followed by an additional $10 per day until the balance is settled. For your security, all credit card details are securely stored and processed through Stripe, a trusted and encrypted payment platform. Your information is protected by industry-leading security measures, ensuring that your personal and payment details remain completely safe.

Further retreat and event polices

As the facilitator, Amanda reserves the right to determine, at her discretion, whether an individual may attend the retreat.

In cases where the Light of Alchemy code of ethics is breached, such as conflicts of interest or concerns about the safety and well-being of others, a full refund will be provided.

If you have made a payment (whether a deposit or the full amount) and are unable to attend due to hospitalization or recent health issues without clearance from your doctor, your ticket will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued. If you provide a doctor's certificate, Amanda will assess the situation. Should she deem it unsafe for you to attend due to the nature of the retreat's work, you may be eligible for a refund or a credit toward a future retreat. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.​

Travel Insurance Policy

To ensure the best experience for all participants, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending the retreat. This may include but is not limited to illness, injury, family emergencies, or travel disruptions such as cancellations, delays, or changes in itinerary.

 

Please note that Amanda Dyer, the retreat facilitator, is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to participant cancellations, missed travel connections, or medical emergencies. By registering for the retreat, participants acknowledge that any travel expenses (including flights, accommodation, and transportation) are non-refundable unless covered by their own travel insurance policy.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend due to illness or other emergencies, it is your responsibility to make a claim through your travel insurance provider. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or reschedule your participation once the booking has been confirmed.

 

By registering for the retreat, you agree to these terms and assume full responsibility for obtaining and maintaining appropriate travel insurance coverage.  ​
